The site is a narrow L shaped site that is located on Tokyo’s typical dwelling environment would be surrounded by the buildings around.
The client maked a request good balance of privacy and openness to us.
We created internal areas and terraces on skip floors, and linked these areas in a loop around the central void, while concealing from surrounding neighbors by the wall that is along site boundary.
