The apartment is part of a building from the end of the eighteenth century. The original structure of the building has been able to enhance the quality of the environmental context, establishing a continuous dialogue between the surroundings and the construction. Formerly the residence of a rich family from Milan, the property has recently undergone a complete restoration dividing it in apartments.

Res Company is a showroom located in the commercial area of Baricentro (Bari). The interior design prioritises the simplicity, function and the experience. At the entrance there is an interior garden in which we find the living area with suede armchairs and sofa and an original kilim rug. The industrial look of the space is softened by a light pink floor which invests all the four sales areas like a carpet. Pink and white light up the space and cheer up the soul. The hangers are conceived as modular iron elements that allow the reformulation of the space according to the needs. The tables are made by local craftsmens. The glass table has a rationalist design, the wooden one has a traditional design. Black bookcases and a red-orange piece are used to show the accessories of the collections. Very funny are also the irregular shaped mirrors, the podium and the corrugated shield.
The essence of the space has been completely transformed by the project of this 120 square meters apartment which was previously charcterized by narrow and dark rooms.
The lighting design emphasises the main architectural elements, while giving depth and continuity to the several functional areas. The big sliding walls that separate the different rooms allow a flexible use of space, depending on the clients’ changing needs.

A project that engages in Etna area, a crossroads of flows and the heart of the historic center: the main hub of the Catania movida, but above all the history and culture of a dynamic city and always looking for new challenges.
