Masquespacio has just finished its first interior design project in Milan for Italian hamburger chain Bun.
After presenting its Memphis inspired Toadstool collection in 2016 and their collaborative exhibition with Italian terracotta artisan Poggi Ugo during the last Milan Design Week, now Masquespacio returns back to Milan with its first interior design project for Bun, located at Viale Bligny, next to the Bocconi University. The aim for the project was to create an identity with a clear focus on the younger generations and at the same time represent a more sophisticated approach for a high-quality hamburger restaurant.

Transform a traditional South Tyrolean restaurant into a larger hospitality space, without altering the charming, beautiful landscape with new levels. This was noa*’s goal with its project in Fiè, within the wonderful Dolomite scenery of the Sciliar and the Catinaccio.
Architecture saves us: With the new building of the Civil protection centre Ritten, Roland Baldi Architects have designed a “common home” for the command of the Fire Brigade, White Cross and Alpine Rescue where they can operate smoothly and proactively across all areas of expertise.
With its simple and sculptural form, the new Civil protection centre Ritten forms a contemporary contrast to the rural and local architectural language typical of the area. The two-storey building, constructed according to the “Klimahaus” A standards, is integrated into the natural course of the terrain slope and communicates with the north-facing entrance area with the main road and the residential area behind it.
When designing this villa to be built along Sardinia’s coastline it was my intention to link it to its geographical and cultural environment using a contemporary and sober language, yet unmistakably Mediterranean and referring to the traditional arts and crafts of this Italian island.
Far from wishing to evoke Sardinia through trite conventional images, inspiration was found in reproducing some textures of traditional weaving (typical ancient and contemporary fabrics and carpets), jewellery (gold filigree), embroidery and basket weaving, transposing them into stone and ceramic finishes and coverings.
