VINTED is the place where community and staff are connected by common ideas, work environment and friendly office spaces. The new office of 600 square meters which symbolically we call VINTED 4TH is situated in Žirmūnai district in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, on the fourth floor of the old administrative building. Entrance to the office is right from the elevator! Much wow!
Our aim was to redesign existing old plan that could represent the company at its best – young, interesting and open minded.
Color cuts in the plan shows difference in the taste of every person who works there or who uses its service. Not to enchant colorful environment too much, the main working area we left bright and calm, what counts as strong fundamental stone of the company.
Then sun, rising behind the long panoramic glass facade, playfully slides around the unique terrazzo floor up until very evening. The floor is made by using big scale marble, granite and travertine pieces, combined together with a white concrete binder. Natural stones, each of which has its own precise position to create the unique floor drawing, have different shapes, colours and edges. The floor becomes a background for every thoroughly thought detail in the living room.
The minimalist- industrial loft is located in Kaunas, Lithuania, designed by IDwhite. The 64 square meter apartment was set up in a reconstructed multistorey industrial building. The target of the client was to design the space for a short-term rental where people become a center of the design living in the interior surrounded by city views.
Originally 2-bedroom apartment was converted into a single bedroom flat. The extra space was given to the living room. A complex geometry of living room was simplified by introducing a diagonal wall. This diagonal direction became the main feature of the living room. Floor direction, furniture and lighting are all aligned to the given diagonal angle. The diagonal wall also allowed the wardrobe layout in the bedroom to be more functional – more depth was given to the walk-in wardrobe and less depth was used for a regular wardrobe.
A young couple requested their first apartment in Trakai interior to be very simple and contemporary. As a result it became black, white and grey colored loft. The great attention we paid to create functional zones and keep architectural context. After new apartment planning was made, second level and roof windows were added. First level contains empty and spacious living room with kitchen and bar zone, hall with stairs, shower room, bedroom and bathroom. At the second level appears entresol with lounge zone separated by metal grill and walk in closet.
In a departure from the conventional practice, a 5-person family was moving from a suburban house to an old town apartment.
The authors of the project were fascinated by the fresh approach of the clients who believe that home is inhabited by people, stories and experiences, and not by things. Thus, their key objective was to live in a ‘minimalist’ fashion – in terms of style as well as in terms of the amount of material things.
Project is situated on the slope of Nevezis river in the forest surrounding.
Shape of the plot, with agile corner at the entrance and forrest view on the opposite site, formed two main volumes of living and resting, both connected with main entrance and workplace.
Black House – brave facade material merges building to surrounding, creating a peaceful synergy with nature.
Vilnius Tech Park building complex designed by A2SM architects is located in the area known as Sapiegos park. The place is a collection of low rise XIX century brick buildings which used to be a hospital and a park. Architects have been tasked to redesign the existing buildings to fit a whole lot of new functions, the main one being – a collaborative hub, focused on startups and technology companies. The historic site has revealed itself to be very flexible towards the contemporary needs of office space and also adaptable for expansion. Architects have revealed the most graphic features of the old buildings and framed them to be the part of the new interior. Old roof timber was salvaged and reworked into the tables and benches for the public areas of the complex. With this outlook of experimental heritage protection Vilnius Tech Park stands as one of a kind complex for startup companies in the whole Baltic area.

Residential development „Rasų Namai“
Idea: lowered + elevated The buildings in the higher part of the plot are elevated on slender columns in order to „catch the sun“ and leave the walls of historical vaults undisturbed. Meanwhile the buildings down the slope are lowered and provided with the yards on the creek bank. The houses are clad in wooden planks of different textures.
