The project for the new Gianni Chiarini’ s showroom in Milan consists in a partially hypogeum exhibition space, located underneath an historical building in the heart of the city.
The access has been re-set up through a recessed patio in the courtyard pavement, which hosts the new stairway that leads to the showroom below. This morphological operation modifies the ground floor of the external area, emphasising the entrance and inviting the visitor to descend. The resulting basement patio has therefore transformed into a small garden, a formal filter between the public space and the more intimate and welcoming internal showroom.

La spiaggia di Sesto is a project for a sport complex designed by Archilea architecture, Renato Pucci architect in collaboration with arch. Giovanni Carignani and arch. Maria Nieddu.
Located in the countryside of Capannori (Italy), near the ancient city of Lucca and in a fantastic natural scenery the new sport center project was elaborated to blend harmoniously with its natural surrounding, drawing inspiration from the traditional architecture and the natural landscape of the region.
The project site involves an old country house, built in 1887 in the immediate neighborhood of Lucca and a most recent farmhand’s cottage. The buildings are integrated in the countryside of Lucca and maintain its typical characteristics.Specifically, the buildings are located in a hilly landscape, between gentle slopes, where oaks and chestnuts lick the property. In this background, the renovation has been directed to both the maintenance and the enhancement of typical elements of the local architecture, such as exposed brick wall, stone of Matraia and chestnut wood.Pursuing this goal, and in full respect of the typical features, the components and materials used have been revised in a contemporary way, adopting the most appropriate construction techniques, in order to ensure the achievement of the best possible result.
