G+3 storey structure was planned to suit multifunctional purpose – An architectural design Studio on first floor, a house for small family on the second floor and the recreational space – amphitheater & terrace garden on the top floor.
Alibagh, often referred to as the Hamptons of Mumbai, is the location of choice for the Second Homes of Mumba is many. It is here, within the hilly village of Katalpada set amidst an exceptionally beautiful context of rolling undulated landscape, boasting of instagrammable views and surrounded by several picturesque hills, earmarked to be forest lands, does Aurelia find itself situated.
The Tree Villa perches on the cliff of a 160 acre hilltop ‘treesort’ property surrounded by a meandering river landscape. The idyllic setting in Tala on the West coast of India, is a stone’s throw away from the Kuda caves. Nearly 20 centuries ago, Buddhist monks instinctively understood the qualities of this meditative landscape and made the hills their home. The Tree Villa was conceived by Architecture BRIO as a celebration of this landscape by creating a series of blurred transitional spaces with different levels of transparency and openness within this forested tropical setting.
The act of research and discovery is essentially an intuitive function. This complex therefore explores those elements, that to my mind, foster and inspire intuitive thought, which is the core of the creative process.

‘ISHANYA’ is a utopian exposition center for building materials, sustainable technologies, and an interaction forum for multi-disciplinary design that transforms into a cultural complex at night. The exposition center is coupled with an integrated research development and consultancy cell that permits a dialogue between designers from the fields of Architecture, Engineering & the Fine Arts. The result: a living organism that comprises permanent display, new product launches and a continuous interaction between the major design disciplines.
Located in a small village Munavali, proximal to Alibaug, a favorite getaway, for affluent Bombay citizens as a place to build their dream country home. The allotment (3 acres) was partly a grove of Tamarind and Mango trees , with the odd , Champa, Vad tree. Part of the plot was four feet lower and was, an unkempt paddy field . The front of the property is a not so busy asphalt road.
