Owing to Angel Martin’s complete renovation, this forty-year-old home is now a breath of fresh air and oozes charm and warmth.
Stone, oak and other rugged materials are seamlessly combined with modern touches, such as angular lines and sleek fixtures, for a fresh and inviting effect. A welcoming and distinctly Mediterranean vibe is attained through the use of earthy tones, like beige, sage and ecru.
A feeling of spaciousness and light was achieved by connecting the kitchen with the dining room and by creating more space in the stairway and living room. Bespoke furniture, as well as pieces by acclaimed designers, accentuate the villa’s perfect balance between rustic chic and contemporary minimalism.
Cala Esmeralda Inturotel in Cala D’Or beach Mallorca overhauled with traditional island materials
The hotel lies in the beautiful Balearic gem of Cala D’Or, and overlooks the nearby Cala Esmeralda beach. This area is located south east of the island and is known for its famous port that runs along the Cala Llonda. Al this area is surrounded by beautiful wooded creeks and turquoise waters.
For this project and taking into account the history of the building and the natural surroundings, we decided to realize a modest intervention, bringing the building back to its origins and restoring its interiors with a contemporary style overhauled with the islands traditional materials.

This project for Emardental Clinic plays with the dialogue of two types of environments that reflect the values of the clinic.
On the one hand, the public area: waiting room, reception and transit areas. A warm, welcoming and winding space with an oak finish of soft tones and curved lines; a space that intuitively guides the patient into the circulation and accompanies him while waiting; a smooth and soft lighting filtered through wooden slats.
House situated on a plot of the second coastline of Majorca. Much of the sun was hidden without sea view, by the interposition of an old and broken down apartment block, except for a small portion facing the sea torrent desenbocaba forming a small beach. They pose a patio attached to a wall that cuts across almost all of its own, leaving hidden the apartment block and opening the rest of the house to the stream and beach.
Due to the geometry and topography of the parcel, with unevenness of over 10 meters of fall from the street, it is chosen to construct two different typologies to better adjust to the land. Also, is distinguished the intervention through a little amassed volumetry. As far as for the distribution of the dwellings; the lounges are placed in the upper floor so it allows a better view without needing to rise too much the ground floor. The access is built by the back façades, average level below from the plant floor, with the intention to better fit the building in the land.
