Data centers are facilities (commonly secluded) used to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems.
We understand that EBV values the creation of opportunities for learning, and we are certain architecture plays an important part of the daily dose of stimulating elements.
This is why we believe the technological heart of the school, its Data Center, should be showcased under controlled environmental conditions, for all students to see how data is safely stored, and as reminder of the school´s compromise to be technologically up to date.
The existing building branches two very important and modern avenues of Maracaibo. The building cannot refrain from this responsibility; the current building is silent and unnoticed. That is why the renewal must make it the centerpiece of the whole urban piece that is not muted but clear; intervention strategies are directed precisely to recognize the building in the urban role and strengthen its relationship with the city.
The project, to be built in several stages, favored the development of a public space square as mortar buildings that define edge; It is a square surrounded by elements that contain two buildings (classrooms and open theater) and a long canopy: buildings that act as street macro-furniture: a ramp building, a stand building and a canopy building.
Build a building between its long facade in the depth direction of the plot, forced to squint into the street and facing the neighbor; to overcome these drawbacks of perception have implemented the following tactics:
