The house is projected as a device to observe and contemplate the valley from the eastern mountain. A volume that clings to it, penetrates and flies at the same time.
Two heavy floor slabs frame the horizon of the mountainous landscape. They organize and contain on the periphery the main spaces of the house and turn its gaze to the mountains. Courtyards of different proportions perforate them to generate accesses, lighting and ventilation for secondary spaces.
The house is an extensive balcony to always be related to the valley, the mountains, the sunsets, the night, the distant city, the changing landscape.
KARIBIK ( KBK ) is a brand that brings forward a new universe full of fashion , color and comfort with which young vanguard groups are identified as individuals.
The approach of the store design was to create a contemporary space in which the brand could express the urban – Latino identity that defines it, and that was also replicable , functional, with character and personality and that allowed KBK to speak directly to its target through different, avant-garde and high-recall elements and spaces.
The brand has presence in cities across the country and currently has 12 stores in Medellin, Bogota , Apartado, Soledad and Rionegro.
The aim for the project is to establish a project that enables the biggest amount of urban connections and the development of public spaces. To achieve this, there are several proposals such as enabling the roofing of the building as public space, empowering meeting places and developing viewing-points which overlook the city.
The minery is a global event that has constantly wasted the planet for a long time, now this is one of the most serious environmental issues in addition to this the remarkable overcrowding in cities which leads to higher energy costs and higher food consumption, is why the “GEA” initiative arises which aims to restore life to places inert victims of mining and exploitation and in turn make them fertile land for the production and the resurgence of habitat and the environment.
Due to the migration to the cities, human occupation of the territory is less, then large areas for food production, environmental remediation and biodiversity will be released.

Medellin, the second largest city in Colombia, is rapidly establishing itself as a leader in that country’s film, TV and audio production/post production industry. In 2011 two of the industry’s most successful sound recording /mixing experts joined together to create Clap Studios, a multi-faceted audio recording/mixing service. In 2014 they decided to expand their facility with a state-of-the-art Dolby® Certified Dubbing Theater. To meet their client’s highest-level acoustic and aesthetic requirements, Clap partners Gabriel Jaime Perez, Daniel Vasquez and Daniel Jaramillo, engaged the services of WSDG Latin.

A conceptual framework for the development of the city of Medellin
AN INTRODUCTION
Multiple intertwined streams of issues
Medellin is wealthy city; wealthy in terms of its ambitions and its potential. Further, this project is a rare opportunity the ability to reform the ENTIRE riverfront that runs through a major city is rare. Therefore, this opportunity must be thought of as being even bigger than just a public space design, it must be taken as a chance to reform and set the framework for Medellin’s future. Obviously the riverfront is the key element in this project, but its influence and importance is much larger than the given project site boundaries. This proposal uses this competition to set forth principals for redevelopment, the use of funds, the city and its history, the relation to ecology, the movement of people, and so forth. Clear thinking about the further evolution of the city and how this project can be a trigger in this process is not overlooked by this project.
This Project is the winner of a private bid for the design of the Corporate Office Building of Fuerte Puerto Aventuras S.A. de C.V.,, and would also house a couple of sister companies. We designed the building under the premise of a mixed program, entailing storage and the administrative and sales offices of the company.
The project has been thought as a new geography to the interior of the elongated Aburrá Valley, midway between Cerro Nutibara and Cerro El Volador. It is a building that seems to be another mountain in the city; from the remote or from the top has an abstract image geographic and festive; from the inside, the movement of the steel structure, allows the filtered sunlight to get inside the space, which is the suitable condition for the conduct of sporting events.
