Tourist villas “The Two” in Tivat, Montenegro by Studio Synthesis architecture & design

Friday, December 17th, 2021

Article source: Studio Synthesis architecture & design

Tourist villas “THE TWO” are located in Đuraševići Settlement, in Montenegro, on linearly developed location, surface area of around 1000 m/sq, delineated on one side with the road and on the other with the sea.

In regards to the set context, the buildings are articulated through two scenes, towards the road and the sea, thus forming integral spatial entirety. In addition to multi-functionality, quality connection between the water and the buildings via a deck and cascaded terraces is key strength of this design.

Thursday, February 21st, 2019

Article source: A4 STUDIO

Štrafta Gastro bar is located in the city center of Podgorica, new city district – City Kvart Delta.

The project task of interior design was to find ways to offer a contemporary solution and present a quality visual identity that will establish a new brand in the market. Client’s desire was to transform the space placed on the ground floor of a residential building into a modern gastronomic bar.

Functional organization of space implies two interconnected spatial units, where the impression of streaming the ambiance to one another through the effect of ease and accessibility of space is gained.

Urban context

The site is situated adjacent to the river Moraca with its picturesque and park like river landscape. To the North it is neighbouring the new millennium bridge a landmark suspension bridge with a span of 140 Metres and a 57 Metre high Pylon. Our proposal for the new UN-headquarter for Montenegro is to lower the landscape to the level of a proposed promenade walkway for pedestrians and cyclists connecting the city centre with its surrounding hinterland along the river.

Article source: Enforma Architecture

In the landscape such as the Bay of Boka Kotorska, great challenge can be construction of building beyond a traditional “recipe”. It’s like when you grow up in a diverse ethnic surrounding where yours ” differences ” are not accepted and understood very well. In that situation, we should to celebrate “the differences” between people and like that today, with all social, economic and technological development, we must thinking about structure which will reflect the present, but without endangering “spirit” of the existing natural and built environment – “genius loci”.
