For the third time in the history of the competition in 2016, from June 10th to the 10th of July, France hosted the 15th edition of the European Football Championship. Nice (Southern France) partecipated in sporting events also with a temporary exhibition Gooal! Rendez-vous Européen, organized by the National Sport Museum with a design and set up project by the Italian-based architects of Officina82 in collaboration with the graphic designer Elio di Raimondo.
The Saint-Isidore district is within the scope of the Operation of National Interest of the Plaine du Var, the site is therefore part of the project of eco-valley that puts sustainable development at the top of the concerns of the mastery of work as mastery of work.
In the heights of Nice, the neighbourhood of the former Ray Stadium is transforming in order to accommodate some three hundred buildings and 6 000 m2 of commercial surface area, between the Gorbella Boulevard and the future Ray Park. In this densely populated neighbourhood, our project suggests offering the city a new green lung.
The office building with terraces sets a new standard for bio-climatic offices.The project is rooted in the idea of flexible work spaces. Its composition sets it apart from traditional offices blocks, and it is part of a strongly eco-conscious approach. This building with 6,400m² of office space and 600 m² of shopping floor space on the ground floor will be delivered in 2018, in the Nice Méridia urban technopole. It was designed by the Nicolas Laisné Associés architecture firm.
The NL*A Agency in Paris, working in partnership with property developer PITCH PROMOTION, has won a competition to build an office block in Nice.
NL*A Paris, engineering consultants GRONTMIJ, Le Sommer Environnement and TANGRAM Paysage have been selected to design a 6,400 m² office block with 600 m² of floor space for commercial units on the ground floor.
In December 2009, the city of Nice launched an international competition for the construction of a new 35,000-seat stadium capable of hosting large international competitions. The stadium would sit at the heart of the Eco Valley in the Plaine du Var, named an ‘Operation of National Interest’ (OIN) in March 2008, and was to be the first flagship project in the new district.
Parking’s presence of the urban space in front of the Forum Jacques Prevert in Carros, allows a better management of the car parks which blocked the environment of this part of the city center of Carros. We wished to set up the architectural and urban elements which give viability to this project of evacuation of the traffic, especially positioning the parking lot as entity registered in the landscape.
