If there is a form of the ideal to the shop, it may be to blend naturally as part of the town. It is that, rather than the sign-lit brilliantly, to continue to be as existence is connected to the people indeed. This is a renovation of the beauty salon during the ten years have passed since the time along with the town from opening. There was a figure of the shop owner exchanging greetings friends with people of the town who went through the shop front.
The name of this beauty salon was inspired by the owner’s passionate desire to turn it into a destination for “the last word in beauty”. Although the design was first completed about five years ago, the previous premises soon grew to feel a little cramped due to the rapidly expanding size of the team, which prompted the owner to move to a new and larger location.
A residence standing on a narrow corner lot in the southern part of Osaka. The client wished for a music room for his wife, who teaches gospel music, and a place where many friends could gather. Due to strict regulations because of the narrow width of the road, the site area was limited to 47 m2 but we tried to adjust the form as much as possible in configuring the interior.
This is a plan for a specialist valuables for cash service boutique on the 2nd floor of a building facing the Shinsaibashisuji shopping centre in the business district of the merchant town of Osaka. Existing s valuables for cash service have the image of pawnshops and the current situation is that there is no choice but to compete with the purchasing prices of rival companies.
We were commissioned to design the premises of a newly opened hair salon within a multi-tenant building located in Kyobashi, an old downtown area of Osaka. During our visit, we found the site to be a pleasant, well-lit space with many windows. The owner’s requirements were for “a styling space that brings sunlight into the interior while also hiding the exterior landscape from view.”
The house is designed for a couple, and is a wooden three stories house that is built at urban narrow site. Around the site is the mixed-use area where small houses, small factories, and small office buildings coexist together without any harmony.
The client requested a garden in the south side of the site, and decided to make a building three stories to secure required rooms.
The house is designed for 4 members of a family with two kids. The house is placed at urban district and a small plot of only 43.21sqm in Osaka, Japan. Around the site is the mixed-use area where small houses, small factories, and small office buildings coexist together without any harmony.
This house is planned for a family, husband, wife and their son. This small house has 8 levels of floor between entrance in the basement to the roof terrace in order to constitute every space not in concentrated way by big void but reciprocal relation of each space. This arrangement makes the notion of floor ambiguous and the continuity of space compatible with the hierarchy of space.

This collective housing’s scale is intermediate position between detached housing and building. This project site is situated on the west side of small station, a big 700-year-old camphor tree passing through the platform and the canopy.
The west side being mixed multiplicity of environmental-elements (bicycle-parking space, shrine, shops under the elevated, small street stand, etc) is more congested and lively than the east side being developed small station plaza and roundabout in order.
A warehouse was converted into a residential space for a young couple who like bouldering which is a kind of free climbing and a sport to climb rocks of two to four meters high without lifeline.
The inside walls are designed in several leaned parts for them to attach some instruments to practice bouldering. For changing the nature of the building we came up with additional walls minimizing the modification to the existing building. As the outside walls were of ACL and the resistance against heat and rain were anticipated, they are covered with corrugated galvalume steal plates with heat insulator attached on the back.
