This project located at 88 avenue Denfert Rochereauin Paris includes several works of demolition, asbestos removal and reconstruction. The Congregation of the Blind Sisters of St. Paul is mainly surrounded by religious functions and programs dedicated to healthcare. Its main access is currently possible from the avenue on the south side of the site. Our project includes a new one from the north side to facilitate the access for pedestrians, deliveries and fire services.

The partial reconstruction of the stadium Jules Ladoumègue has been realized in intricate connection with the new site of the RATP* maintenance center (*public transport service for the Ile-de-France).
The construction of the maintenance center and the creation of new space for sport activities expresses the integration of big equipment in dense urban structure and emphasizes its multi-functionality.
Bordered by rue des Orteaux, rue de Fontarabie, and the Passage Fréquel, the Fréquel-Fontarabie block is the last stage of the development of the mixed development zone of the la Réunion neighborhood. This effort has sought to reduce the visible level of in-habitability, build new housing, value existing resources, and design nearby public facilities in an effort to create quality public spaces. The project to build thirty housing units has pursued a dual goal: to reconstruct the older urban fabric through small interventions within an overall framework of sustainable development.
The City of Paris has given the green light to MVRDV’s ambitious plan for the restructuring of the mixed-use urban block Vandamme Nord at Gaîté-Montparnasse in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. The large building complex, built in the 1970s, comprises a shopping centre, offices, a public library, a hotel and an underground car park, all of which will be retrofitted so as to reintroduce the human scale to an urban environment largely characterized by wide boulevards and monolithic structures. In addition to the face-lift provided by a new facade, the accessibility and programmatic identity of each of these programs will be improved through a total internal reorganisation of the complex. The building’s restructuring also foresees extending the existing commercial spaces, creating new office space, a new kindergarten, an expanded library, a conference centre, as well as a number of social housing units.
This very compact project hosts several programs transforming the building into a real little machine for living. This density assumed by extremely rational plans (development and distribution studios) has two breaths, acting as the urban level as a point of view of applications. The first is horizontal, formed by an open 3rd floor, it gathers all common facilities (library, gym, communal kitchen …) arranged freely on the tray lookout over the city. The second breath is a vertical fault that brings natural light in all circulations horizontal (and vertical). In this regard, we encourage the use of public spaces (including stairs) which are viewed as places for sharing nice and bright. On the urban point of view, this work is how to synchronize the building with a topographic changing context: the device, its coverage, the steepness of the area, the terrace of the art cinema and testing …. All these levels present in the Porte des Lilas are many references with which the new project dialog through its own system of “urban balconies” is playing new strata of the city.

The project consists in creating an additional room on the roof of a penthouse in a posh suburb a few steps from Paris, with creation of a private access stairs.
The purpose of this addition is to offer a workshop, but also a reception room turned towards a hanging garden and terrace looking to Paris skyline.

Paris has the largest concentration in m² of museums in the world, nearly 120 museums in total, with many urban areas which tend to be transformed into living conservatories.
Ova Design has worked hand-in-hand with the Palais des Thés, accompanying them in their evolution by redesigning the boutique in Paris’ 3rd district. This mock-up is a success for the overall design, which is in harmony with the brand’s new positioning, “Vivons le thé”. The Ova Design agency specialises in retail design. It was thus able to showcase all its talents for the famous tea company, from product design to the commercial interior. Ultimately, the Ova Design concept will be applied to all the company’s outlets, some 32 boutiques.

C comme C, the architecture and design bureau of Carole Chuffart und Carole Vermont with headquarters in Paris, designed the atypical interior of the restaurant Jeanne B at the foot of Montmartre. This is the fourth time already that the enterprising Parisian gastronome Frédéric Hubig has commissioned the two designers, most recently in 2010 for Jeanne A.
The building, measuring 3,800m2, designed by the architectural studio SCAPE, is located at the southern end of ZAC (urban development zone) at Porte des Lilas, and has among its main objectives that of transforming the relationship between the city of Paris within the Boulevard Périphérique and the districts on the outside.
