The project of the New National Archives of France draws its inspiration from the surrounding reality, from the city seen as coexistence of chaos and order. The concept is born and takes place from this duality which is reflected in the organization of the complex.

‘ PERCHED ON THE 5TH FLOOR OF A TYPICAL APARTMENT BUILDING IN THE VERY CORE OF PARIS, THIS REFURBISHMENT PROJECT WAS AN OCCASION TO TURN A SINGLE ROOM APARTMENT INTO A PROPER DOUBLE ROOM ONE.’
The University of Paris IV-Sorbonne’s Clignancourt Centre was built in 1968 on a former military site located between Boulevard Ney and the Paris Beltway, in the city’s 18th arrondissement. Its renovation, begun in 2009, is part of the redevelopment of the entire Clignancourt neighbourhood.

New head office of Cartier firm in Paris Saint-Honoré district. The offices are articulated around a courtyard.The main street, Rue du Faubourg, provides three entry points into the interior courtyard. The façades are made of clear and serigraphed glass; the paving is Pietra Serena. The programme includes offices, shops, a showroom, a restaurant and a bar, a multi-purpose hall, a gymnasium and parking space below grade for 450 vehicles.

Our office developed the concept and design of the first restaurant in Sao Paulo city, since in order to expand via franchising. We were responsible for development of all suppliers and architectural designs of the restaurants outside of SP and SP. Cities like: Brasilia, SJ Rio Preto, Salvador, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, as well as construction management units SP. Established a job well near the master franchisee to ensure standardization and replication of the restaurant throughout Brazil and outside of Brazil.
The project of the rue Godefroy Cavaignac in Paris consisted in the rehabilitation of a building which did not meet hygiene and security standards into new social housing.
The agency’s aim was to renew the image of the building in the street while responding to the requirements of the «patrimoine habitat environnement» certification. The project is largely based on the building extension, contemporary reinvention of the bow-window, inserted in the prolongation of the unfinished 19th century façade.
The alternation of voids and solids as well as the diagonal cutting of the volumes break the visual monotony of the alignment of the buildings in the street and offer new and interesting views onto the rue de Charonne.
Inside, the apartments benefit from new space and comfort including, for some of them, a small space for gardening, a loggia or balcony.
The courtyard is transformed into a planted patio which is made visible thanks to a transparent wall from the street. A page is turned, social life is reinvented.
The situation of the plot at number 16 rue Riquet is exceptional: largely visible from the corner of Avenue de Flandre, it is very close to the Bassin de la Villette and has a length of 36 meters of frontage facing south with a depth varying from 18 to 22 meters. The building at the corner of Avenue de Flandre constructed at right angles as well as the small buildings with adjoining ground floors gives to the western corner of the plot a very valuable “faubourg” touch. On the other side of the same street, the large gable of number 14 allows the new building to be built upon. The whole of these characteristics bear a rich urban potential. Our project aims at making the most of it in the setting up and design of the new building
The new building takes place on the east Side of Paris, a new area build over rail tracks. All the difficulty was to make a construction without any foundation. The project is installed above big concrete slabs overcoming trains in motion. So vertical columns are like pink flamingo’s legs. They are installed on 27 small spring boxes connecting the ground floor. Those boxes prevent all trains vibrations to students’ cells.
Three architectural moves are key in turning this former hotel ballroom into an integrated set of spaces. A portion of the ground floor concrete slab is cut away, a bridge spanned across it, and a cafe ‘trailer’ inserted into the front facade. The front of the trailer pushes through to the street, defining the entrance and helping to project the identity of the gallery.
