In an objective of sobriety and obviousness, this building of 20 meters large associates three antinomics functions, (teaching, sporting room, car park) which overlap by strata and maintain their autonomy to gather into a coherent whole.
A work on permeability and successives spaces dig the matter, filte the light and open this “monolith” on the garden and the city.

The new campus of ENSTA Paris Tech, which invested the location of Palaiseau, perfectly merges into the geometry of the structuring axes of the “Ecole Polytechnique”. In the heart of the area, it provides a new identity to the landscape..
The school, which is the main building of ENSTA ParisTech campus, lands along the boulevard surrounded by a vast redesigned space with lawns and trees. The exterior conviviality space, which is naturally blended into the rolling design of the park, provides plenty of space for social interaction.
The client’s specific request for this press conference room was to create a project that would be both contemporary and timeless at the same time in order to match the Institution that it would represent. We aimed to transform this “technical tool” into a space of representation and communication for the Minister and its politicians. A high number of technical equipments and utilities needed to be integrated in the suspended ceilling in order to a clear a clean, bright and sun filled space.
There are two buildings situated n°42-48 “Rebière” street. It includes 23 accommodations: G+3 Duplex (7 units) and G+8 (16 units + 1 association premises of 80 m2). These two separate entities surround two other buildings designed by the agency “Atelier Provisoire” from Bordeaux. The buildings are connected through exterior walkways. The selected urban location allows to create one of the only ground floor with garden, on the whole construction project of “Rebière” street.
THE SKIPPERS HOUSE IS PART OF A GROUP OF BUILDINGS THAT FORM AN URBAN FAÇADE ON THE SEINE. THE STRATEGIC LOCATION OF THIS “HOUSE” BETWEEN THE SEINE AND QUAI, FANTASTIC VIEWS, BUT VARIOUS CHANGES HAVE REMOVED THIS PERMEABILITY. IN ADDITION IN 1970, A HEIGHTENING OF THE ROOM AWARD WAS MADE BY A “PASTICHE” OF CORRUGATED SHEETS IMITATING CONCRETE FAÇADE. THIS ADDITION MAKES “HEAVY MASS” IN THE VOLUME GROWTH.
We organized the space of JETRO’s exhibition booth for the Maison&Objet international trade fair held twice a year in Paris, France. The “J STYLE+” joint exhibition booth sponsored by JETRO gathers products from 16 companies selected by members of the Japan-France selection committee. Under the concept “Everlasting: Miscellaneous everyday use goods whose existence shines in our daily lives,” and strived to make a booth with a presence that will stand out even in a different culture by following Japanese qualities and keywords, such as the “Spirit” of the time, “Ease” and “Elegant Cuteness.”
This new building is a remarkable amenity in the city centre, visible by its façades and its roof, a founding element of the project. We designed it to be both welcoming and protective, turned inwards towards inner courtyards to ensure privacy.
Article source: Pro Materia GLASS IS TOMORROW is a European project, which aims at establishing a more fluid exchange of knowledge and competencies between glass and design professionals in the north, south, east and west of Europe. Supported by the ‘Culture’ (2007-2013) program of the European Union, GLASS IS TOMORROW promotes a high level of craft and design in contemporary glass. The project was launched on June 1st 2011, and three workshops were organized, in Nuutajärvi (FI), Nový Bor (CZ), Meisenthal (FR), during which glassblowers and designers teamed up to produce glass pieces. Glass aesthetics and techniques were explored by the tandems in order to develop new typologies of everyday objects. The project opened up new potentialities and generated dialogue about the conception, production and distribution of glass pieces by experimenting around three themes: Stackability, Silver Glass and Out of the Mould.The prototypes created during the workshops as well as the GLASS IS TOMORROW project are now presented to the public through a touring exhibition and publication, featuring pictures and videos signed by James Bort and photography by Anne Croquet and Guy Rebmeister.

The new lodge built is just slip into the openings in the existing structure : a light structure made of wood, in a yellow color. The lodge caretaker is designed as an autonomous structure that includes its own floor, walls and ceiling. This structure is thought up as an element of urban furniture.
The site on which the theatre is built has seen some glamorous times. In its days as a train station, it would welcome the rich socialites coming off the transatlantic liners. Opened in 1867, ten years after the Paris-Saint-Nazaire line started running, the station is a variation on Hausmannian neo-classicism, in the style of the Parisian stations.
