Located in Fort St. John of Foz, this exhibition was presented in a building of the seventeenth century, with military architectural features.
Twelve spaces, twelve themes and their creators architects, decorators and designers, each space was created considering a way to experience a certain tourist.

The old house was found in a sequence of equally discrete buildings from different periods of the 20th century. Built originally for a single family, and abandoned for decades, the brief proposed transforming the ruin into a housing unit with five apartments, responding to the accelerated gentrification process in the area.

The Alves da Veiga project aimed to reconvert an old typography, built in the nineteenth century and abandoned for decades, in a set of six apartments, maintaining all the structure and spatial concept of preexistence.
The original building, though appearing from the outside only two storeys, in fact contained a curious floor + mezzanine organization that actually embodied four habitable floors.
Casa Acreditar do Porto is a very peculiar project, with a very specific program, for a universe of very special users. The House is designed for 16 children and adolescents with cancer who, during the period of treatments to be done at the Porto IPO, need a House to stay with their families. As such, the main objective of this project was to create a building, a living space with the maximum of comfort, that could help to overcome the longing, creating a familiar environment in a coexistence of friendship and solidarity.
Oporto has been suffering radical cultural and social changes in the last ten years, leading to a large revitalization dynamic that has expanded beyond the city center. Driven by this movement, we were invited to refurbish an abandoned XIX century bourgeois house and convert it into a set of 5 apartments.
This was our first commission together and with such a challenging site. A privileged place in its relationship with the D.Luís I bridge facing Porto´s Ribeira, in a unique landscape that leads us where the Douro crosses the horizon.
Santa Teresa is a street located in the heart of the reborn Oporto downtown, A big urban area that slowly got abandoned and grew older in the last thirty years, but has recently been subject of a radical change, either social, cultural, economic and architectural consequently.
Located in an historic building in the heart of the city of Porto, this project consisted in the transformation of a room into the author’s architecture office. Although small (55 m2), this premium space, in regards of solar exposition and relationship with its urban surroundings, was able to accommodate all the demands and areas inherent to its new role as a contemporary office.
