The dynamic development of this industry means that they expect, not only a multifunctional, modern and conveniently designed space, but also one that is interesting and referring to the style of work, the range of interests and last but not least the one attracting potential employees. The office space designed by the ZONA Group for IT Mocny allows you to work in different conditions, on various projects, allows you to relax and integrate.
Imagine a café, a reading room, a bookstore and a coffee roasting company all located in a refurbished former milk bar. The idea to create a place that would meet various needs of book lovers and coffee enthusiasts was a consequence of bringing together owners’ professional passion (for books) and memories of exotic (African) childhood. The space is divided into three zones that clearly illustrate this multifunctional concept.
The house is designed by TEŻ ARCHITEKCI from Poland. It is located in the village, near the lake and the forest. The unique character of this place is created by many birch trees growing on the plot. The main goal was to place the design of the house in the space between the trees, while adjusting the maximum exposure to the sun. The spaces inside are organized, designed and naturally lit, so as to ensure the comfort of the residents. The building is designed partly as a single-storeyed bungalow construction and partly as a two-storey building. The height varies depending on the function and position on the plot. The part of the house which is located on the east side is higher (6.5 m). The height of the building at this point does not cause shading of the usable part of the plot. On the ground floor the entrance to the house is located, the toilet, utility room and the living area, which houses the living room and the dining room. On the attic we designed the loggia with a panoramic view of the surrounding fields and woods.
4EXPO is a company preparing exhibitions in their whole complexity all around Europe. Their headquaters include production, a large storage area, offices and social rooms. The furniture is made of plywood by the 4EXPO company in their own workshops. Walls in the main hall and the staircase are finished with HPL laminated panels with a soft linear pattern. Glass walls and glass toilet tiles make the building inside very light. Interiors are completed with ECOPHONE suspended ceilings with LED light lamps made by polish company LUG.
The apartment with a view located on the seventh floor is a result of combining two flats. Its space is divided into two main and at the same time interpenetrating zones: intimate and daily. The first one includes a bedroom, a bathroom and a wardrobe, the second one embraces a living room, a kitchen, a dining room as well as an entry zone together with a toilet and an utility room. Mobile walls in the form of sliding doors allow the user to configure private and public spaces depending on his/hers changing needs. The apartment is defined by muted colours that create a background for particular elements of the interior. The atmosphere of the apartment is completed by an ashen floor as well as the blue, pink, white and green mosaic arranged in the spaces of bathroom, kitchen and entry zone.
LODOVNIA, a new mobile ice cream shop with a unique facade, found its place right in the heart of Poznań’s Stary Browar! Since the building took a central spot in the Courtyard of Art, mode:lina™ studio designers approached its façade as if it was a piece of art. Dark walls were extended with the use of almost one thousand white sport cones, referring to LODOVNIA’s fagship product – natural ice cream in a cone. Large glazed panels not only allow to peek in, but they also refect the surrounding Stary Browar’s architecture. The interior is a black and white composition as well, warmed by triangle-shaped elements made of natural plywood. Both the triangles and the shape of a sport cone further connect with the letter V in LODOVNIA’s logo, which makes the architectural result consistent with the ice cream shop’s visual identity system.
In this world everything is clear – a simple form, minimalistic colors selection, natural materials. This concept of design has been dictated by the male point of view from the very beginning.
The apartment was purchased in the fall and when the architects entered it, they noticed an exceptional view of the old trees in the neighborhood. Yellow, red and brown colors were the perfect background.
Office spaces are often associated with unfriendliness and anonymity. Architects from the Metaforma Group have faced the challenge of designing a space that will not only foster concentration while working, but will also allow you to fully rest during breaks. Acoustics and individually adjusted solutions in surface zoning have become the guiding ideas of the concept.
The starting point in creating the interior was the investor’s collection of paintings, antique furniture and extensive library of books. The apartment was divided and furnished in order to expose these items, but in such a way that they do not compete and do not dominate the space. All the new furniture pieces are very minimalistic and free of any visible details. The books have been closed in double-sided bookcases, which also serve as separators of the communication area and they also contain a bio fireplace and a TV set. The kitchen was also designed in a minimalistic way and all the appliances have been hidden in closets.
