Located in Gramado, Serra Gaucha, inside the Aspen Mountain condominium. The site is located in a land surrounded by trees, lakes and streams. On the 800m² site, a 500m² residence blends in with the land and its surroundings.
The RR house has 3 floors. They are the garage, social and intimate. The first floor is the car garage, cellar, extra bedroom and secondary access to the residence. On the second floor is the main access to the house, where the daily routine of the residence takes place, the television, fireplace, dining room, kitchen and gourmet space and its relationship with the land and terraces. On the third floor are located the bedrooms, three suites and two panoramic terraces.
Located in one of the highest points of the city of Caxias do Sul/RS. The site provides an outstanding view to the downtown’s skyline. The building’s solar orientation is north-south and the main façade is allocated to the south, where is the most interesting panoramama from the appartments. With this conditioning, the living area was designated to the best view, and dormitory to the best insolation and heat.
Located in Caxias do Sul, the building occupies a wide corner, due to the pre-condition of large roads, making them very wide and of great flow. Low-rise and small-scale buildings occupy the surroundings. In this scenario, the building becomes a protagonist, being the focal point for people and vehicles wich pass by.
The commercial building has seven floors: parking basement, three ground floor shops with mezzanine, three floors with four commercial offices each and technical space. The smaller scale of the building (the total constructed area is about 2,000 m²) and the insertion in a corner allowed us to “sculpt” the primary prism and transform it.
Pier 31 is a multi-family residential building worthy of a small, thriving and growing city. The building is located in a high point of the city of Flores da Cunha, in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul – Brazil, a municipality that stands out for its wine production and furniture manufacturing, balancing innovation and tradition.
Therefore, Pier 31 could not be much different: the building was conceived on a relatively narrow site, with contemporary design and only four floors intended for apartments with generally traditional floor plans. The project’s differential lies precisely in the contemporary design: unusual for the region, but still respecting the urban scale and occasionally bringing some elements common to the city’s culture to the façade and interiors, such as wood, vegetation, and the metal railing. In addition, although the plans have followed a more restrained and traditional configuration, Pier 31 has brought two new products to the city: a linear penthouse apartment with incredible views and two lean one-bedroom duplex apartments with floor-to-ceiling windows that also enjoy the views of this high point of the region.
The project won the National Public Competition for the New Headquarters of Fecomércio, Sesc and Senac in Rio Grande do Sul

Man transforms the environment, interferes with nature in order to produce spaces that shelter their daily activities. In this process, he causes changes, builds objects, thinks about artifices inserted in the natural environment. This intervention suggests a reflection on the relationship between nature and artifice. Thus, it proposes buildings that are at the same time: artifact and landscape, coverage and relief, shelter and open area.
Ananda is the name set by Stemmer Rodrigues for its new house project in Eldorado do Sul (Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil). Ananda means supreme bliss, a common term widely used in hinduism. The choice directly refers to the owner’s wish of transforming her house into a bright space to live in and to receive students for yoga and meditation classes.
Located on the north coast of Rio Grande do Sul, Casa W has simple volumetry. Three stone planes support the robust upper volume of exposed concrete and block the view of those who pass through the access street into the residence. Finally, the volume of wood that crosses the front / back house organizes the service and its support, the kitchen and the grill, freeing up space for the entire social area that opens up to the view of the lake.
The project was designed for a young couple with two small children and their beach house at a residential condo.
The concept was integrate social area providing interaction between the family members and friends. It was proposed one and only living room that has a fireplace for winter days. Next to the living is the dining room and the gourmet area with a barbecue pit, a pizza oven and a bar.

The initial aim of this project was the creation of a space that would unite indoors with outdoors, without losing privacy. Due to the limitation of the land (360m2), the idea was to ensure the best use of the spac-es, considering the angle of the sun. It is a large residence, with a social area fully connected to the ex-ternal area. The absence of walls and the use of frames ensures the full use of the natural light. In addi-tion, both the plate glass as well as the extension of the upper floor over the lower floor ensures better thermal comfort. Energy saving was also considered an essential factor for this project, such that, in all areas, LED lighting technology was used.
