Between Two Patios in Saint Ouen, France by OVERCODE architecture urbanism

The project aims at improving the living space of a house that sits on a 100% built terrain. The house is located in a dense neighborhood near Paris, Saint Ouen (93).

The existing site was divided into 3 parts: a parking space on the street level, an old workshop in the center and a house at the back. The house has been recently restored and shelters on the ground floor the living spaces, which were very dark due to the warehouse in front of it.

« DOCK EN SEINE » OFFICES in France by Franklin Azzi Architecture

The Saint-Ouen Docks site has an industrial port activity past, which decay had given way to industrial waste land, and has now become the ideal strategic location for an Eco-Neighbourhood. This labelled project is an example of an environment-driven project.

The main volume of the ‘Dock en Seine’ building comprises six stories. In order to meet the necessary environmental objectives, and to overcome constraints related to streamlining of the programmes, this building was tightly packed.

Zero Energy school in SAINT-OUEN, FRANCE by Mikou Design Studio

The Docks school in Saint Ouen is in a strategic urban location, in the middle of the Zac des Docks mixed development area, which an exemplary case of sustainable urban development.

Located in the middle of an urban complex composed mainly of high-rise office blocks and housing, it will also be visible because of its roof, a fundamental feature of the project onto which the openings of neighbouring buildings face.

The Gavroche centre for children is a cultural and educational facility situated in the heart of the Victor Hugo development. The latter is part of a large urban renewal scheme consisting principally of housing, offices and commercial buildings organised around the Victor Hugo Garden.
