Occupying a lot at Alameda Jaú in the Jardins district, São Paulo, Deliqatê is a restaurant specialized in gourmet sandwiches and is the first enterprise from this group of investors whose intention is to take it to other capital cities in the country.
Located in a building on the corner of the street, the store should house the contemporaneity of the collection and the brand´s new language. It has acted in the market for over 60 years and in this new undertaking, it searches for a new esthetic language printed on its products and also in the architecture.
Walking around the area, Jaeger found the spot and started working on obtaining the building. After negotiating and learning the family histories from the owners, the two sisters that were born and raised in the house, set two conditions: the building architecture should be kept as it was, and the jaboticaba tree (typical Brazilian fruit) had to be kept.
Leitão_653 is a building located in the heart of Pinheiros, a popular neighborhood which combines small traditional buildings and new residential towers. Inserted between two lofty towers, a long and narrow plot, the building is 4 meters wide and 25 meters high.
The studios occupying the building enjoy a smooth flow between the plates through a central tower. Alternating terraces on the 2nd floor and roof offer living areas and promote exchange and community life.
When Casa REX, an important Brazilian design office, came to us looking for a reform of its new seat, the initial goal was to create a new identity for the physical space of the office, which didn’t exist before because of its rapid expansion.
Couple married about ten years, needed to reform the swimming pool area. After the end of the refurbishing, they said: \”We’ve used more times this area than in ten years we are living here! It’s amazing!\”
With the façade radically horizontal, the Lee House is organized in a single volume ground-floor site. All of the rooms therefore, establish a strong relationship with the external, opening out to the garden. The spatial continuity with the living room is larger: all of the windows are recessed creating an extension of the external space, with a large veranda. The living room then prolongs the pool deck and crosses to the other side of the lot.
