Walking around the area, Jaeger found the spot and started working on obtaining the building. After negotiating and learning the family histories from the owners, the two sisters that were born and raised in the house, set two conditions: the building architecture should be kept as it was, and the jaboticaba tree (typical Brazilian fruit) had to be kept.

Tuesday, May 7th, 2013

Article source: Studio mk27

With the façade radically horizontal, the Lee House is organized in a single volume ground-floor site. All of the rooms therefore, establish a strong relationship with the external, opening out to the garden. The spatial continuity with the living room is larger: all of the windows are recessed creating an extension of the external space, with a large veranda. The living room then prolongs the pool deck and crosses to the other side of the lot.

Article source: Terra e Tuma Arquitetos Associados

São Paulo. In this city, which contemporaneity is able to perform the most extraordinary urban contrasts for us, living can reveal an encouraging condition. In search of a place where this could be experienced, the idea of an elementary residence acquires the character of a happening. Thus, as this house decided to silently place itself at the westerly metropolitan meanders, is how it is presented at Maracanã Street.
