Little Creatures has opened its first craft beer pub in the China Mainland in the heart of Shanghai at Found 158. The Shanghai chapter of this iconic Australian craft brand takes the industrial elements from its Australian parent bars, to bring the Little Creatures experience to Shanghai.

Hauser & Wirth Pop-up Bookstore in Shanghai, China by dongqi Architects

dongqi Architects designed the Hauser & Wirth Publishers’ pop-up bookshop located within Modern Eye, the art space of Modern Media Group in central Shanghai. The pavilion is assembled in the 3-story-high space facing the main entrance to communicate the ethos of Hauser & Wirth by showcasing H&W publications, selected artist products and the story of the Hauser & Wirth gallery and farm in Somerset, England.

DOE Store in Shanghai, China by B.L.U.E. Architecture Studio

This project is located on the first floor of Infinitus Tower by the shoreline of Taiping Lake in Shanghai. As the weathervane of street fashion, DOE represents noncomformist qualities, being both classic and trendy, vintage and modern. Based on the Street Culture branding of DOE, the design of the store introduces the concept of street and city. As the store opens up to the street, bringing in urban landscape, the boundary between inside and outside is dissolved.

Shanghai LuJiaZui Exhibition Centre in China by OMA

The Lujiazui Exhibiton Centre is located on the northern and most recent development of Shanghai Pudong, along the Huangpu River, one of the most photographed waterfronts in the world. The project site, occupying the former ‘Shanghai Shipyard’, has a long history of marine industry. The new Exhibition Centre is positioned on the ramp of a former ship cradle and provides a concentrated event space within the surrounding financial district.

Excavating Lost Craft in City –Spatial Renovation of M.Y.Lab Wood Workshop in Shanghai, China by Continuation Studio

Preparations

The M.Y.Lab Wood Workshop is located on the first floor of a warehouse, which used to be the Dongfeng Sofa Factory in Changning District, Shanghai. Adjacent to the warehouse, it is stood a new-built 150㎡ attached room, forming a triangle lacunain-between. The task is to refurbish the 300㎡ one-storey warehouse into a two-storey commercial space, which is to be operated as a wood crafting learning centre.

The Bund Finance Centre Shanghai in China by Foster + Partners

The Bund Finance Centre – a major new mixed-use development jointly designed by Foster + Partners and Heatherwick Studio – is set to revitalise Shanghai’s waterfront. Occupying a prominent site on the Bund, the buildings define the ‘end point’ to Shanghai’s most famous street. The 420,000-square metre masterplan is highly permeable for pedestrians, with the design conceived as a point of connection between the old town and the new financial district.

The Underwater offices in Shanghai, China by 100architects

100architects was commissioned by Club Med to design their new office space in Shanghai.
This project was in collaboration with the product designer Diego Fuertes.

The French company was moving its Asia-Pacific Headquarter to the recently finished Bund Financial Center, at The Bund, designed by Foster + Partners & Heatherwick Studio.
