Tuesday, July 26th, 2016

Article source: Ganna design

This is a house of a young couple who work as furniture designer and shoes designer in China. With their keen aesthetic perception, they look for a quiet home which is a place like the blueprint for residence in their hearts. Finally they chose an undisturbed house, accompanied by natural view outside, located in the outskirts of Taipei as their home when they go back to Taiwan.

cnYES Office in Taipei, Taiwan by Waterfrom Design

Friday, July 8th, 2016

Article source: Waterfrom Design

Integrating finance and mass communication to provide financial website services, cnYES is an internet media company characterized by stability images of financial business and innovation features of the media. To highlight the sense of speed as in Wall Street and Silicon Valley, Waterfrom Design selects the element of “time” as the theme complemented by the dual fast pace of swift financial, monetary and cash flow as well as online real time information. Time is to be deconstructed in the space while in unison the space is to be reinvented and interpreted with different time definition through rapidly floating and changing rhythm.

Wednesday, May 25th, 2016

Article source: Che Fu Chang Architects + Sinotech Engineering Consultant Inc.

It has been 20 years since the Metro system first established in Taiwan’s capital city, Taipei. As an underground system, the entrance to the station normally appears like a matchbox on the street like cities worldwide, without any opportunity to interact with its environment. When the extension plan revealed, an ambitious new line, which needles the city’s hot attractions carried out by the city’s public transport bureau. A proposed station site in the city’s biggest green space, the Daan Forest Park, creates a great opportunity to introduce a new idea for Metro station design.

Administration Building of Tung Ho Steel Enterprise Corp in Taoyuan, Taiwan by Che Fu Chang Architects

Saturday, April 16th, 2016

Article source: Che Fu Chang Architects

Steel making is a sophisticated process. Extruding, rolling, extending—the dynamic flow gives birth to the basic element of modern building structure, the steel bar. A primary goal of our project was to capture the suddenness of the motion, a moment that sustains pressure, force, and heat. The complexity is reflected in the building’s multifaceted function, encompassing areas for administration and accommodation as well as a canteen, auditorium, and gallery. Moreover, a narratively arranged visitors’ route is integrated into the building’s circulation system. These features also shape the buildings and connecting bridge.

As H&M fashion company launched their first store in Taiwan, the logistic office and warehouse were set among the mountains of Ruifung, on the outskirts of Taipei City. The reconfigured space introduces a new approach to logistic offices as opposed to the stereotypical warehouse workplace. The design embodies a casual, warm and playfulenvironment that reflects the belief in each individual’s ability to show initiative.
