SORANO HOTEL with interior designed by Curiosity is newly born in the area adjacent to Showa Kinen Park, one of the leading national parks in Japan, situated in Tachikawa city, just 30 minutes from Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Store design for the cosmetic brand SHIRO, which offers products made from natural ingredients. The store occupies a long and narrow space of 19 meters wide and 1.3 meters deep, facing a common corridor in a shopping mall located in Tamagawa, Tokyo. The aim of this design was to create a space with a sense of openness and comfort inspired by the town with abundant nature and a relaxed atmosphere.
Narrow city type site shape that can be said to be one of the best in Tokyo. It is a detached house for two couples who are required to meet all the conditions such as roads, frontage, terrain, and directions, and the restrictions imposed by them.

This is a house for a young couple who have just married. I (architect)am a childhood friend of wife and a member of husband’s lab in graduate school. I am very glad to design their house, and would like to make the house very comfortable for their new marriage life.
The site has narrow property, only 43 square meters. A convenient commute into the city was their top priority, the house is located at a quiet residential area in the center of Tokyo district Japan.The house volume is maximum size which is subjected to height restrictions by Japanese architectural regulation.

A house in a residential area on the outskirts of Tokyo. Compared to the narrow front-side width, its depth goes further down. Two-thirds of its site is located approximately 3 meters above the street level. Therefore, the floor facing the street is, in fact, underground and one floor up is the ground and street-level. Including the penthouse, the residence has a total of 4 floors.
Nine-story flat is located near Togoshi Ginza Shopping Area. We studied maximum effective usage in an area of 500 square meters. The building is located in Low-rise building within residential districts and High-rise building within neighborhood commercial districts. The third, fourth, and fifth-floor are recessed in accordance with sun shadow control volumetric calculation.
