The flat is on the fourth floor of Hamit Bey Apartment building which was designed by the architect Apostol Mavrodoglu a century ago and it is located on Gumussuyu Street in Taksim, Istanbul.
Istanbul based award winner studio Alper Derinboğaz,Salon designed Beylikdüzü Life Valley Bridges and Routes masterplan project with the guidelines of possibilities, the ideas, the dreams, and the scenarios under the title of “Keeping the Valley Alive” within shaping the future of the valley will be pieced together with the targets of keeping it livable, accessible, sustainable, feasible. Salon detailed the design process with in 3 main headings, namely Access the Valley, Feel the Valley, and Watch the Valley to make up the backbone of the project with the inclusion of transitions and strong relationships between different scales such as the civil society, the city scale, the district scale, and the bridge scale.
Landmark of the city Kayseri Wonderland Project consists of many different facilities. One of them is the Water Ski Park having 33.000 square meters site area and a 3.000 square meters island in the artificial lake.
PARKOPERA designed by Alper Derinboğaz founder of Salon is a cultural facility that coexist with neighborhood park between apartment blocks on a neighborhood scale giving opportunities and providing equipment to amateur and professional groups. The building is a center of attraction on the city scale especially for the west part of Antalya, which is full of residences and hotels, and it is offering a two-way cultural program while providing a venue and equipment for performances. This cultural program includes a show center, a studio, and an opera stage with a capacity for an opera of 400 on the one hand, and it also includes a multi-purpose lounge facing the park where the neighborhood finds its living space. The opera hall can meet the requirements for an opera with 400 audiences, three sided stages, an orchestra pit, a sofito, a service lounge, and stage elevators.
Recognizing that the 21st Century promises new productive relationships between education, research, and industry, iDE EGE Technopark A. Ş. approached Atolye Labs about a facility to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and anchor the emerging technopark in the heart of Izmir, a bustling cosmopolis in Western Turkey. The resulting project repurposes 35 second hand shipping containers to form the centerpiece of a new, vibrant research community on the campus as well as to function as a creative magnet for talent in Ege University, Izmir and Aegean region at large.
Barbaros House is located in Barbaros Village of Urla, İzmir. On the upper east side of the building site, the techno park area of Izmir Institute of Technology is located. While designing the house, the main idea was to achieve a silent living space in a natural environment. Local stone and reinforced concrete were used for the walls and structural system of this project. Both materials have high surface densities and thus provide good acoustic insulation.
The project is under construction in the resort land of Side-Belek region. The sea shore is nearly full of new resorts, as a competition of thematic towers, domes. The restricitons of roofs, block lenghts and heights let the investors and architects, to remark their products by these kind of silhouette objects or historical theme facades.
The Mecidiyeköy neighborhood is one of the most important transportation centers of Istanbul. Therefore it is one of the preferred locations for office centers and firms in the city. Although this area is old and warn it remains vivacious and is being continuously regenerated with various new building and urban renewal projects.
At the base of a rocky cliff face on the Turkish coast now stands The Babylon Beach Club housing the Monk Restaurant. Designed by architect Selin Maner, the beach club is a year-round restaurant and concert venue. Once a small restaurant covered in asphalt and concrete, the site has regained its natural look and feel through the use of Kebony wood, which now clads the exterior of the building.
