AAD Architects undertook the design of Blu Clinic, an aesthetic center with an area of 18,000 square meters in Vadi Istanbul, where Istanbul’s most prestigious projects and living spaces are located.
Blu Clinic, among the aesthetic medicine centers, has the distinction of being the first and only complex medical center in Turkey, with an area of 18.000 square meters. The location of the project is in the region where the most prestigious projects and living spaces of Istanbul.
“Hair of Istanbul” Hair Transplant Clinic is an 450 sqm interior design project located in Yalı Ataköy Complex in Istanbul, Turkey. Two flats in the third floor of a residence building are merged for the clinic.
To create a technological healing place, concept of the clinic design is wrapped around an idea of “digital forest”. These two seemingly conflicting themes are brought together to support each other in the design. As a result of being a health center the feeling of a sterile environment is established with a minimalistic approach shaped around the concept of “flat design”, easy-to-clean surfaces, and the use of white color in different materials. The use of technology with elements such as sensor doors, mirror screens, video walls have also been integrated into the project to support the operation of a modern health facility.
First of all, a workshop has been organised with BAT crew who have decided upon moving to ninth and tenth floor of Orjin Maslak located on the land of the most important business district of İstanbul. Regarding to the demands of personnel in the consideration of feedbacks of workshop, the design scheme has been created. A ‘Social Office’ has been designed focusing on social interaction and flexibility In stead of hierarchical and stable seating arrangement.
A western district and villages terminal was designed in the west of the city, Kayseri. The idea of creating a district terminal came up due to the fact that the transportation access difficulty of the existing travel agencies in the area. Besides, the traffic density caused by the transportation vehicles in the city center is an another reason.
A new library building is desired to be built in addition to RAMI OLD MILITARY BARRACKS RESTORATION PROJECT WITH A NEW CITY MUSEUM FUNCTION which is included in ISTANBUL 2010 CULTURAL CAPITAL CITY OF EUROPE PROGRAMME.
The Rami Library brings a new perspective to the understanding of librarianship in national cultural community and is also totally open to international.
