Beach House in Prumirim, Brazil by brro arquitetos

The beach house of Prumirim is located in the northern coast of the São Paulo state – Brasil, it is laid out among the thick Atlantic woods of the Sao Paulo shoreline, a few meters from the sea. Due to the plentiful woods, the house implementation faces big limitations within the removal of threes. Keeping this in mind, creating engaging social areas became the focal point for the architectural project, that happened through the creation of patios that connect the spaces in the house benefiting from great openings, bringing the green woods inside, like a cabin open to the plant life.

Beach house at Ponta do Pulso, Brazil by Arch. Affonso Risi

The main building, a two floor pentagon plan pavilion (258,80 m²/2 784 ft²), is almost entirely surrounded by the sea.The plan allows disposing 4 bedrooms upstairs opened as verandas to the sea landscape. The fifth vertex is an open space two stories high. The entire ground floor is also designed as a veranda with sliding glass doors.

House in Ubatuba, Brazil by SPBR Arquitetos

Ubatuba is one of the most important coastal cities in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is placed exactly on the Tropic of Capricorn and is very well known as one of the most raining area in Brazil. This 55m x 16m ground plot, located at the far right end of Tenório’s Beach, borders on the seashore at one side and goes up a 50% slope hill, only reaching street level at 28 meters.
