The YODEZEEN’s team of architects and designers believe that craftsmanship is not about what kind of interior you can create on a large area. Compact apartments like La Renommee are proof of this: you can elegantly embody everything conceived without neglecting functionality, even in a small space.
A large family with three children of different ages always means thinking through details in the interior. The YODEZEEN team had several main tasks: to organize a spacious living-dining area where all family members can gather for dinner. And also to create a laconic bright interior according to the taste of the parents. It was significant to make the children’s areas functional and provide an extra bed in one of the bedrooms in case of family visits.
We were invited to design the terrace of the SHEF restaurant so that it should be a continuation of the idea of the main hall, but, at the same time, it should be distinguished by a light festive atmosphere and mobility. The stake here is made on the combination of comfort and service of a good place with the flexibility of hotel event halls, as the restaurant is located in the building of the Favor Park hotel. The hotel regularly hosts various events, including sports and international ones. There was a request for a space that can be easily transformed, depending on the nature and scale of the event. It should be very flexible, and suitable for both a formal banquet and an official reception.
NORSE apartment located in Kiev, Ukraine in the residential complex «Tetris Hall».
The space of 166 sq.m. was created by combining two apartments with an excellent view of the city center.
The main task was to create a Scandinavian style interior for a young couple with a dog, using natural materials, comfortable lighting, and the major icons of Scandinavian design.
The architectural model of the house inspired us to make a small redevelopment to create a holistic, comfortable, multifunctional space filled with air and light. The combination of large windows, natural shades, and textures, natural materials make the house an integral part of the surrounding nature, fill it with energy and family comfort.
Almost all the furniture in the interior is made by Ukrainian manufacturers according to our project.
We were very lucky with our customers. We created this project together with an unusual young and friendly family. The main inspiration and source of energy for the renovation was a very interesting and effective woman who works in a theatre. From the first meeting, it became clear how much she cares about the comfort and happiness of her beloved family, and we were happy to help them make their dreams come true.
FAIR FINCH is a coffee-tea boutique located in Kyiv and this year celebrates its fifth year of activity. During this time, the company has established itself as a manufacturer of freshly roasted coffee; a boutique that offers accessories, tableware for professionals and coffee lovers, besides the academy of barista. In addition, FAIR FINCH team is one of the few in Ukraine that has established its own import of raw materials directly from the farmers in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Ethiopia, Honduras and other countries known for their coffee plantations, also participating in the purchase of auction lots and works with European green grain trends.
Naturally, all these achievements and activities of FAIR FINCH required a certain packaging, both in terms of products and in terms of interiors. Until 2020, the company already had an idea of the brand and its stylistic features, but last year it was finalized and modernized by the famous Ukrainian twin designers Aleksandr and Vladimir Yudin from YUDIN Design studio. The founders of FAIR FINCH asked the designers to develop the concept in the identity and design of the new premises – a coffee shop-boutique on Dragomirova street.
Mazanka is an apartment in a Kyiv skyscraper with a view of the Dnipro river, where ancient construction technologies were used. In the Ukrainian language, мазанка (mazanka) means a small village house built of wood, clay, and reeds. The name comes from the word мазати (mazaty) — to cover something with a layer of clay.
Mazanka apartment is a dialogue of our architects with the past. And its result is a step towards the originality of modern Ukrainian design and Ukrainian culture as it is.

PRO espresso opened just after the lockdown, at the height of last summer. One of the characteristics that differentiates this cafe from the others is the use by the barista of compact Modbar machines instead of the classic ones.
Modbar is visually a single piston and a compact press. Therefore, the owners of PRO espresso asked the founders of YUDIN Design studio to pay all their attention in the interior to the progressive devices and the skills of the barista, who is finally not hidden behind the machine but produces masterpieces based on espresso right in front of the visitor’s eyes!
