FRESH&GO is a cozy and charming fruit shop located on the sixth floor of one of the biggest shopping centers in Kiev. The founders of YUDIN Design studio, Aleksandr and Vladimir Yudin, have dealt with the planning and the design of this place.
The 70 sq.m bar is expressly aimed at the typical inhabitant of a metropolis like Kiev, with his frenetic life and the need to get the necessary energy. Here smoothies, juices and fruit salads are prepared, and different showcases and refrigerators contain fresh and dried fruits, and other natural derivatives such as oil and tea.
Sazha – it’s a meat restaurant in Sumy, focused on developing the culture of consumption of steaks in the city.
The restaurant’s building, like the whole architectural ensemble of the street where it is located, is an example of Soviet constructivism. Therefore, in our opinion, it was the quite logical decision to realize the interior of restaurant in a modern style, departing from the principle of the classic steakhouse. A picturesque Ukrainian name “Sazha” (soot – is a black powder mass that is deposited in the furnaces, chimneys owing to incomplete combustion of fuel) became both a starting point for creating the atmosphere of the restaurant, and bright reflection of its overall concept.
We were commissioned to design an apartment for a young, sophisticated, single professional, where he can enjoy his life either alone, or with a partner.
Preliminary assessment of a two-level, 80-sq.m space in a listed building in Kyiv revealed an original brickwork hidden under layers of plaster, old timber ceiling joists and sloped walls in the attic.
Client’s request was to develop an interior design for a chain of beer bars that would introduce alternative view for the beer culture. Venue is located in a very heart of the city. The building was a 70 year old post-war member of the splendid historic Kyiv architecture.
Ascetic 140 square meters of modern house on a stony slope above the river. The triangular shape of the building was created in a dialogue with the client, who likes sharp forms, open planning, conciseness and simplicity. From the overhanging terrace, where are located a pizza oven and a large table, a chic panorama of the river opens.
In collaboration with our partners TOI group we have developed a modern house Modern House, with a swimming pool for a big family in the village Novoaleksandrivka in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
A snow-white, strict house stands on a vast plot, surrounded by pine forests. Spacious and minimalistic, it is designed to unite with nature, rest and contemplation.
The architecture of the building is based on a contrasting combination of its horizontal volumes and verticals of surrounding pines. Thus, the whole house – is a perfect viewing platform.
In the center of Kyiv, on Bolshaya Vasilkovskaya street, there is an inspiring coffee bar ONE LOVE espresso bar, the interior and history of which was created by the studio YUDIN Design. Designers Vladimir and Aleksandr Yudin created the name and other elements of the identity of this institution. A simple but ingenious logo pushes to a creative thinking. Performed in the style of a light stamp, it consists of the defining word ONE and the word LOVE, which is represented by a kind of puzzle. The letters O and V are composed of graphic “coffee beans,” while V is distinctly reminiscent of the heart. It’s all LOVE!
The location of the bar is symbolic. It is a sort of balance of the material and spiritual values of the modern man: in the heart of the capital, under the wings of the Toronto business center, overlooking the church of St. Nicholas. Is it possible to think about the eternal here without stopping for it from the ground or from a cup of strong espresso?
Maly Krasota Design recently completed a two-storey apartment project in Kiev for a large family.
In addition to having two small children in the family who need space for games, apartment owners often receive guests. Therefore, one of the basic requirements for design, was the possibility of transforming the premises for different scenarios: the space should be convenient for both cozy family evenings and for noisy parties with many friends.
