This dwelling is located on a visibly narrow and elongated plot, which induces to create an appealing garden and swimming-pool as the backdrop of the house. Its singular shape is based on the wish to visually isolate the house from its surroundings, unaware of this particular atmosphere.
Settled in a residential area, the plot’s morphology obliged us to focus the building in a single floor same height design. Starting from cube from where it’s subtracted different pieces to shape the spaces from gaps or solids. The cube seems almost blind at its east-west orientation and totally opened to the northwest-south direction.
Vegamar Selección Wine Shop, located on the main shopping street of town, is a space for wine tasting and sales.
The project aims to transmit the quality of the exposed products, as well as to maximize the feeling of amplitude inside the shop.
Dark, glossy panels are chosen for vertical surfaces. Due to their tone and reflections, they blur the spatial limits of the establishment, making it seem bigger than what it really is. The colour of this material also refers to the colour of the displayed wines. These vertical surfaces lodge storage space and allow for a regularization of the available geometry.
The waste-treatment plant (WTP) is located on the outskirts of the city of Valenciain an area close to the airport, where the crop fields and market gardens stretch out like a sea of gold and green – a typical image in this place, famed for its fertile land and gentle Mediterranean climate.

Between the historical responsibility and the new ways of living. Residential building in “Barri dels Velluters”, very degraded historic district, however, attractive and possible. It is an initiative of private nature that is added to a series of public proposals (social housing, equipment) intended for the recuperation of the urban center. The project assumes responsibility of the surroundings and responds to the problems of the current dwelling. A program of 19 minimum units, between 30 and 50 m2, the ground floor is intended for people with reduced mobility.
The building is located on a corner plot in the periphery of the locality of Turís, in the boundary between the urban areas and agricultural fields. It is one of the first constructions of an extension of the rural center, which should accommodate nine homes, a commercial premise on the ground floor and parking in the basement. A monolithic element is proposed in this colonization of the territory, which defines the corner in a blunt way and is established as the first solid piece of reference for future buildings in a still undefined place.
Dialectic between public space and appropriate places for inhabitants of nursery school.
The construction of a nursery in the existing center CEIP “Vicente Blasco Ibáñez” in Cheste (Valencia) is seen as an opportunity to investigate and intervene in the border between the school and the town of Cheste, as well as to achieve the necessary specificity required by the program in relationship to the rest public spaces of the center.
The expansion of secondary and professional school “9 d’Octubre de Carlet” (Valencia) is proposed as an opportunity to restructure an existing system and to rethink about relationship between the new building/s and the landscape, a privileged agricultural environment. The project is mainly based in economy of means and in effective use of space freed by the initial constructions.
The Social Center and Magistrate’s Court of Rafelbunyol is a facility located in the South area of the village, in a new growth settlement. The public plot appears in the urban design as an interstitial space (almost a leftover) among the roundabout connecting with the consolidated area and the existing buildings. As a result, the geometry is very irregular with a curved boundary that hinders the disposition of clean volumes. Additionally, the plot dimensions are quite reduced so the occupation is necessarily very high to achieve the programmatic requirements.
