Masquespacio presents the last design created for Kento Shop, the Valencia chain specialized in Japanese take away food, with a special focus on sushi.
This third venue that Masquespacio designed for Kento with its 100 m2 is the biggest until now. Thanks to this, the space contains more seats than in the other shops, above a bigger fridge and kitchen. To be highlighted first, is the high ceiling and the completely glassed shop window. Starting from this point, the design seeks to take advantage of the interior architecture, maintaining the high ceiling and the big window of the project. A mirror was in this case used to create an infinite perspective for the ceiling, while most of the tables have been oriented to the exterior, to offer most of the diners a direct view at the street. The main materials used on the other hand are mosaic tiles of a grey color for the floors and some walls, that create an interesting contrast with the corporate colors from the brand used for the furniture and lighting. Adding semicircular wood strips on the walls, that remind us of the bambu woods, not only the Japanese aspect of the space is highlighted, but also a touch of warmth is added to an interior with several industrial materials like metal and ceramics.
The furniture and lighting itself, differently from the other Kento interiors, use a limited of gold which is exchanged for the purple and green corporate colors. Last, but not least, the counter is presented with a wooden ceiling that reminds us of the roadside food stands in Japan.

Idai Nature is a company specialized in natural and organic fertilizers that seeks to be a benchmark in innovative natural solutions, waste zero, focused on nutrition and crop protection, allowing the producer to improve the quality and profitability of their crops respecting the environment ambient.
With the aim of positioning itself in the TOP10 of reference in Europe in a period of 2 years with its own presence in the 5 continents, through sustained and sustainable growth, the creation of a new building where to locate its headquarters that becomes the face of the brand and adapted to this imminent growth was necessary.
The apartment is located in the historic neighborhood of Velluters, in an early 20th century building in the hearth of Valencia. Its original distribution consisted of four small rooms, a bathroom in the middle area, and a small kitchen and a separated toilet after a dark corridor on the south side. According to the new living needs is projected a two bedrooms apartment with two bathrooms, demolishing the totality of the old partitions.
The renovated house is located in a building in the historic Eixample district of Valencia, created in the early 20th century and bearing witness to one of the most outstanding periods in Valencian architecture.
The city blocks in the area are configured with a large courtyard in the interior and a perimeter volume built with chamfered corners, giving the impression of a compact structure to the public space.
The booth is developed around a central void that becomes the central plaza for product display.
The walls that define the enclosure of the exhibition court are developed on two levels and differentiated materially and sensorially by the use of painted OSB for the upper part which functions as the crowning of the structure.
All ancillary functions are identified within a service space along the length of the booth.
The project consists of updating a house with 400 square meters of living and 400 square meters of terrace space in the heart of the city, with a characteristic distribution of the Valencian expansion district. This type of building with a high depth of block and central patios determines the possible layout, which responds to the functional requirements of the inhabitants of the house. The intervention aims to understand the small central courtyards as an opportunity to introduce light and the sky into the centre of the house.

A consolidated landscape surrounded by gardens, a large and elongated plot with a distant view of the sea and a pleasant breeze. This is the searched and lucky starting point trigger of this story.
Three elements make up the project. An extruded cover in the longitudinal direction of the ground with a “T” shape is the framework in which space is inhabited. This geometry let us feel the sea, protecting from prying eyes, having the sense of living without neighbors. It helps control the southern sun during summer and lets it pass in winter. The walkable roof becomes a sort of belvedere enjoying the entire surface of the plot.

The Aquarium House designed by Rubén Muedra Estudio de Arquitectura is located in a residential area of low density in the metropolitan area of Valencia, in a new expansion area in the municipality’s urban boundary.
The project, which is developed in section, consists of four rectangular horizontal trays of different shape, which allow the successive levels to merge with the horizon, avoiding the appearance of limits or spaces bounded in height.
