FAR HOMESTAY is built for a newly married couple who seek a residence they can both stay and operate a small homestay business near the sea at the same time.
The project is located at prime location less than 200 meters from the beach in Central Vietnam and is surrounded by peaceful, undeveloped wilderness.
The proposed solution by D1 satisfies business-cum-dwelling requirement while best utilizes all available factors surrounding the landscape. On the ground floor lies the spacious common space with communal kitchen and dining table where people can gather and share meals. The four guest rooms are located on the 1st floor while the owners' residence is pushed to the top (2nd floor) allowing for utmost privacy. There's also a rooftop for extra hanging out and environment contemplation.
OLWEN HOUSE is a residential project situated in tightly-knit neighborhood in Danang, central Vietnam. The brief is to pact a showroom, retail space, makeup and workspace for the photography studio all within a 75-sqm land plot in a low-rise residential area surrounded by “blockhouses” and approached by a narrow 2.5-meter alley.
This duplex villa is situated on a 600-m2 land plot adjacent to the Hoi An River in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. The surrounding context is still wild and under-developed, with lots of nipas being the signature tree of the area.
The challenge of this project is to effectively exploit the surrounding landscape and inject soul into the project via the use of local materials. Moreover, the project has to be able to endure the harsh climate in Hoi An, with a long rainy season and a very cold winter. Even worse, this location witnesses frequent storms and floods every year.

To utilize the property's character which faces a street and has a double-height ceiling, The stairs from the entrance to the cashier was designed to show passersby customers are queuing in vertical direction.
It made each tart-display table be stair-like and inside floor for staff be sloped as a result.
– DT house is a small house with an area of 5x20m, which is quite familiar in Vietnam. It wasformed with the idea of a tropical house, in which the space and usage of materials can withstand the harsh climate in Danang city, the central of Vietnam.
– The Architects' conception before designing the house was to create a small house inside a larger house, which means the larger shape would cover and protect smaller cubes inside and they were linked together by stairs and floor spaces.

Executive office cluster of Ta Nung Homestay is located in Ta Nung Valley located 18 kilometers away from central Dalat, Vietnam to the West. Here lies a small town which is also well-known as the land of flower field and endless coffee farm. The cluster, shrouded by the mist of Dalat, provides environmental-friendly working space for 8-10 workers, who helps to run the whole administration system of Ta Nung Homestay. Modestly placed in the valley, an executive suite is built and modernized as a connected and transparent workplace attached to the breathtaking nature of Ta Nung.
This is a private residence project for a family in District 10, Ho Chi Minh City. Our client is a gentleman who lives abroad and had requested to build a house for his mother, Mrs. Nga, and her family currently living in Vietnam. The area has a particularly high building density in the city, with several 1 to 3-storey buildings constructed in close proximity to each other. According the Mrs. Nga, who has been living in the area for over 40 years, the land used to be forested. Currently, her residence is a small house which lies among a tangled web of narrow alleys of only 1-2 meters in width. If a typical house were to be built on this site, it might face the challenge of not getting in enough light as the neighbor constructions will cast shadows over it, resulting in a dark and damp space. Hence, the aim of this project is to create an open living space in the middle of such a high-density residential area.
The Cuckoo House is a house for 4 people (parents and 2 kids) combining with a coffee shop located in Da Nang, Vietnam and designed by Tropical Space in 2018. The project is built by the local clay brick which brings a familiar feeling to the user and has the architectural shape reminding about the Cuckoo Clock.
The Cuckoo house includes three blocks which is connected by the buffer layers. These blocks place on another rectangular block which is function as a base. This base block is the coffee shop with the garden as outdoor area and the indoor space.

Cuchi Organic Farming Masterplan is design proposal for 600-Hectares-decommissioned rubber plantation in Cuchi, Vietnam. The client acquired the land and aimed to transform the under-utilized site to be an organic food production farm provided from animal feed, livestock, fruit, and vegetation in the closed-cycle operation. The first phase of 50 Ha. is an agro-tourism destination offering visitor holistic experience of food cycle.
