The basis for the design of the new building is flexibility. Isomorphic plants: well communicated, diaphanous, with lighting in the perimeter in order to host any type of program, both in time and space, with great ease for the incorporation of new technologies.
The building solves the circulations in the central points of the complex in order to achieve good circulation and leave as much open space as possible. For this, two vertical circulation nucleus are configured, attached to the respective dividing walls of the existing residential building.
Logistic warehouse and parking for Citröen in “Consorcio Zona Franca” in Vigo (Spain) designed by Naos Architecture. A building with 15,000 m2 destinated to logistics uses and with 1,236 parking spaces, equivalent to three football fields.
The refurbishment of this apartment, a penthouse located on Vigo’s waterfront, has required an analysis of the hierarchy of the spaces, to understand that everything happens in a natural way, and the objective is to reshape the apartment.
The client offered us a different concept. A place where they could live a clothing store and a small cafe space. both naturally came together, and at the same time complement each other.
The Complex in Barreiro has been designed for recreational and sporting use, besides being a leisure and aquatic centre. It has three swimming pools: one with 6 lanes of 25 metres in length, a swimming pool of learning and other one with water beds, Jacuzzi and massage jets. What particularity stands out is its large central space linked to the sports activities and it’s a glass prism with maximum use of natural light and allows the best ventilation of the spaces.
