GLCRM and Provencher_Roy Architects consortium are the proud recipients of Canadian Architect’s 2016 Award of Merit for their work on the reception pavilion of Québec’s National Assembly. The award was handed out during the magazine’s 49th Awards of Excellence gala, held in Toronto. Since its inception in 1968, the Awards of Excellence have recognized exceptional architectural projects in the design stage, as reflected by buildings that are interesting from a structural point-of-view while being responsive to social and urban context, meeting client needs with discernment and creativity, and demonstrating awareness of sustainable development imperatives.

Zazz Boutique: An Iridescent Salon in Ville de Québec, Canada by Hatem+D Architecture

The multidisciplinary and creative firm Hatem+D signs the entire concept of the first Boutique Zazz located in Quebec City.

Involved in the strategic positioning of this new banner, the team Hatem+D created a new concept, fully designed the branding and the web content in a complete and all inclusive design for the boutique.

Pierre Lassonde Pavilion in Ville de Québec, Canada by OMA Architecture and Provencher Roy

On June 24 took place the inauguration of the new Pierre Lassonde pavilion of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, whose architectural conception started in 2011. It is with a tremendous sense of pride that Provencher_Roy assists to the opening of the doors to this building that imparts a newfound architectural cohesiveness to the Musée and enables Québecers and tourists alike, thanks to a 90% increase in exhibition space, to discover in greater depth the MNBAQ’s impressive art collection.
