GRZYBOWSKA APARTMENT in Warsaw, Poland by NASCITURUS DESIGN

Sunday, October 19th, 2014

Article source: NASCITURUS DESIGN

This project is the effect of the work done on the 140 m2 space, which changed into a luxurious interior, becoming an alternative to the impersonal hotel rooms.  The flat belongs to a businessman, who visits Warsaw for business very often.  The guidelines were very clear: it was supposed to be comfortable and elegant.  Not necessarily the designer style, but rather classy and functional features is what counts here.  The apartment, located in the downtown area of the city, is at the same time a quiet place for resting and a foyer to the big city fun.

MONUMENTAL MODERNITY in WARSAW, POLAND by FAAB Architektura

Tuesday, May 20th, 2014

Article source: FAAB Architektura

The design was determined by the pursuit of two main goals. One was the creation of a space which, thanks to the means of architectural expression, would bring out the gravity of the central government office as well as create an impression of the government’s openness and accessibility to citizens. The other was the durability of the project in terms of utilization and aesthetics, especially taking into account that the project was to be paid for with public funds.

Custore Pavilion in Warsaw, Poland by Anna Dobek + Mateusz Wojcicki

Saturday, May 11th, 2013

Article source: Anna Dobek + Mateusz Wojcicki

Custore is an experimental project of exhibition pavilion that explores the areas of parametric architecture, used for the commercial market. In this project we had to deal not only with the aesthetic issues of computer-generated sculptural forms, but also with practical problems associated with the execution of the project inside a commercial building, and – most importantly – with the real clash of artistic forms and commercial market guidelines.

B+L HQ in Warsaw, Poland by 137kilo Architekci

Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013

Article source: 137kilo Architekci

The project is the Poland headquarters of a large pharmaceutical corporation. The client wanted the office space to highlight the company’s scientific heritage while providing a high quality working environment for its employees. Research labs and contact lenses – the client’s main product – served as our inspiration. White exposed ceilings combined with glass surfaces combine to create a light and transparent space. This seemingly sterile aesthetic is balanced by green walls along the space’s main visual axes and functional solutions which encourage teamwork and relaxation.
