Kotaro Horiuchi Architecture Kotaro HORIUCHI was born in 1978 in Nagoya AICHI, JAPAN. He received a master degree in urbanism and architecture from graduate school of university,Tokyo JAPAN. In 2009 he established his own Paris-based practice, Tokyo and Nagoya practices, after gaining experience through world renowned architecture firms such as: DPA – Dominique Perrault Architecture (Paris, France), Mecanoo Architecten (Delft, The Netherlands), and PPAG – Popelka Poduschka Architekten (Vienna, Austria) from 2003 to 2009. Kotaro HORIUCHI’s architectural design firm – Kotaro Horiuchi Architecture- is headquartered in Nagoya AICHI, JAPAN, works on multiple projects of architecture, urban design and interior design around the world. He won Silver Award of JCD Design Award 2011.
