This Project is the winner of a private bid for the design of the Corporate Office Building of Fuerte Puerto Aventuras S.A. de C.V.,, and would also house a couple of sister companies. We designed the building under the premise of a mixed program, entailing storage and the administrative and sales offices of the company.

Rendering

With the idea of a mixed program, storage, open offices and a few private offices, we focused on the best layout for each part of the program, responding to the logistics processes established by the company, plus the required flexibility for future changes in the organization.

One of the streets being a high traffic very noisy street, we decided the project should live inwards; the façade is made of a rock material that from the street looks like a grille, a quasi solid support, but having the texture generated by the “baguettes.”

Rendering

The project is turned inwards, with a division that creates a connection with the gardens on the ground floor. The first garden or atrium is close to a cubic shape, and all the offices on the three levels look into this area without obstruction, only with a protection balustrade.

This garden has high-foliage trees, so it can be seen even from the top floors; it is covered by a dome made of metallic bars, and glass in soft colors that reflects a diffuse lighting to the atrium.

The back gardens have different functions. One garden lies at the exit of the lifts, and another garden connects the common meeting rooms to the employees dining hall.
