Article source: PlanAR Architecture Studio The premises were originally designed to house a Soviet-time supercomputer. Rooms were separated from the corridor by the unused air supply shafts. The raised floor (strong enough to bear the supercomputer) was 1.5m above the concrete slab and 1.5 below the entrance level.  Image Courtesy PlanAR Architecture Studio The entrance level, with reception desk and the glass meeting room is on top. The bottom level under it lies on the concrete slab. It houses a private meeting room and a storage. The existing raised floor runs around the new structure and houses workplaces. The proposed scheme enlarged the usable area of the office by 40 sq.m.
