Our concept for Joe’s Chinese Restaurant is forgetting the image of existing Chinese restaurant and creating new sophisticated identity for this restaurant. We are inspired form restaurants in New York City. We want to apply their the metropolitan atmosphere and attractive modern spatial design to break through stereotype for Chinese restaurant.
Those aspects of New York City are reflected to furniture, finishings, and lighting. They create urbanized atmosphere that existing Chinese restaurants do not have. However, by having Chinese decoration that has traditional motifs such as the hibiscus porcelain artwork successfully connect Chinese tradition and this metropolitan interior.
Thus, balancing these two different theme, which are metropolitan and Chinese tradition, we could introduce the new type of Chinese restaurant at Joe’s Chinese Restaurant.
