Morini Istanbul is an ideal spot to linger with a cocktail, enjoy a break from shopping or host a dinner party in its Italian cosiness and New Yorker simplicity. Their understanding of quality and rigor is successfully materialized in Kontra’s design. Every detail in design exudes a sense of comfort and exclusivity.

Kontra Architecture has created a well executed design for the triangular floor plan, which was Beymen’s champagne bar beforehand. With a capacity of 140 people, this refined indoors dining area is in transition with outdoors via rattan panels. The marble engraving panel on the wall is the reflection of the Morini village in Italy. With the Italian mosaics on the floor Kontra has captured Morini’s traditional side. Kontra’s interpretation of the motifs on the ceiling with a variety of materials such as brass and mirror adds a grandeur mood to Morini’s dining experience. Its high-end bar is designed to be a meeting point and is a spacious corner for singles as well, while the terrace is a fresh area for a sunny Sunday brunch.

Using a variety of materials such as stone, wood and brass added with high-tones upholstery; all furniture items and lightings are designed by Kontra for Morini. Every architectural element is carefully executed and made to last.
