This new space by Catalan architect Agustí Costa in Berga, a hundred kilometers far from Barcelona, is dedicated to the practice of homeopathic therapies by professionals who reinvent the health sector by orienting it towards a more social, natural and holistic principles, close to those of the Slow Philosophy.
The project translates these ideas into spaces that convey warmth, comfort, calm, mystery, balance, harmony, stimulus and a clearly noticeable difference to current conventional health centers. This distinctiveness results in the creation of an atmosphere in consultation rooms that rejects the usual patterns of seduction, impregnating spaces with meanings and resonances of Eastern cultures far from the Western tradition.
However, the final language of the Món Homocèutic health center designed with no exterior contact to natural light except from its only access proves to be contemporary and universal.
