Article source: grupoarquitectura In a building with an orthogonal plant were projected the offices, which makes obviously present the main offices and private offices for partners, as well as boardrooms in a perimeter way to the windows, these private areas are glass bodies through which it is allow the passage of light to the circulation and administrative areas.
The original panels were removed completely leaving in plain sight the spaces with the building structure, painted with Oxford Gray color in order to go into the background with all the facilities that are equally exposed. There were used materials as Absolute Black Granite in floors, Arabescato Marble in the reception area and main boardroom, Walnut Wood in walls and furniture, and glass in divisions and doors. We were asked that the main boardroom were not a conventional space because for the lawyers it is the most important place of the entirely the office where they have important meetings of their day-to-day work. We proposed an oval room floating over the floor with Arabescato Marble finishing and enclosed with some oval perimeter walls. The luminous ceiling around the space had maintained the same shape. All other walls are made of walnut wood in continuous trimmings where doors, closets and services are concealed, appearing as quite open volumes.
