Article source: ZOOCO estudio The project Gust Restaurant located in Genoa 5 , born from the idea of creating a site with an area dedicated to self and other drinking .With this premise and with local morphology which has a large corridor that divides the space into two , a concept with three large spaces arises.  Image Courtesy © Orlando Gutierrez With these divisions we try to reproduce the idea of a space type “market” welcome that gives continuity to the street Genoa with a strong urban character ; and another space , divided into two , of a domestic nature where public consumption , connected by a corridor that serves as a transition between urban and domestic arises . The natural course of local support for the idea to be conveyed ; a first market that aims to continue the city, where shopping and two other domestic spaces , as if you entrases in your home , where you eat.  Image Courtesy © Orlando Gutierrez  Image Courtesy © Orlando Gutierrez The first space that welcomes guests is equipped with fully urban characteristics, trying to reflect the language and the component parts of a street market.A large bookcase with wooden boxes accompanies the customer journey to get to the counter making up the main elevation.  Image Courtesy © Orlando Gutierrez  Image Courtesy © Orlando Gutierrez The counter made of Hisbalit glass mosaic pyramid.A hexagonal concrete pavement normally used on roadways emphasizes the idea of being in a foreign.This previously discussed by the orange located in central, metal furniture, fixtures and treatment of the different facades of space complete this urban character.To give warmth to the space you opt for a large horizontal oak ceiling. The link between urban space and domestic, is a corridor that continues the hexagonal concrete floor and has a “green” structure that keeps on giving us the feeling of being in a foreign, assuming a nice “walk” to the consumer area. Different sets of furniture as a lounge and a dining table type . Next to the wooden floors give this space domestic character.  Image Courtesy © Orlando Gutierrez  Image Courtesy © Orlando Gutierrez The second room with the metal screen as input, has a more industrial character as if it will be an annex to the house , garage or greenhouse type .This space is just set with a large presence of vegetation , soil as a great touch of color and lighting to complete the industrial character.
