As one of the most symbolic characters in Chinese traditional culture, the ancient character of “HUI” is like a vortex current, which means “return”. Xun Zi (ancient Chinese philosopher) used to say: “River convolutes when going deep.” According to Chinese traditional humanistic sensibilities, “Hui” presents also the most basic inner aspiration. No matter how long have we been outside, we all want to go back home and back to the initial ourselves. So, this hotel has taken “HUI” as his name and design inspiration, putting urban life back to the original state, letting nature enter city, embrace love at home, so that all kinds of sensation could recover in this art space.
