Article source: Stefano Viganò Architetto Reorganization of space, design and production of furniture, modernity and welcoming feeling are the objectives of the restructuring of an existing space, now a notary office.
The shape of the spaces has necessitated the formation of a lobby to redesign the access to the office: the large central space becomes a reception area where the counter determines the division between public and private spaces. Few materials were used in order to create a relaxing atmosphere: to realise the new internal divisions etched glass was used to allow the light to filter and to maintain a sense of privacy; steel, lacquered wood and oak furniture were used to build furniture and decoration which were also the object of experimentation in some details such as the design of the desks with the grommet made of bent steel and the bookcase coffee table in the waiting room.
