People lives in this housing would be able to feel the nature such as the light and the wind.

A court named ‘a garden in the city’ was put into this architecture and covered by aluminium loovers.

This court served as a void and is softly articulated by these louvers and put in the woods around the site.

Bamboos are planted in this court which is paved by natural slates, so residents would feel the nature inside the architecture.

In the entrance hall we can see the city outside, and also be able to see the court to feel the nature.

There are 24 housing units inside this housing complex, two of them are directly beside the court.

Living in these two units, people would feel like living in a house.

Outside staires are in the court,so residents are able to feel the light and the winds going up and down the staires.

Each corridors face the garden and alwyas surrounded by the light.

This outside staires are like a road to the each housing which is always lost in the housing complexes.

Bay windows in each units are architectural devices by which residents are able to see the trees in the garden and Shakujii park.

In a city in which people are detached from the nature,I designed a space like an original landscape where we are able to feel the nature.
