Goor Apartment in Ganei Tikva, Israel by ORKO – Architecture and DesignNovember 16th, 2016 by Sumit Singhal
Article source: ORKO – Architecture and Design The client requested our assistance at an advanced stage of construction which required the production of a set of modification plans in a short period of time. The client requested for her 3 bedroom apartment to be unique, contemporary and have clean lines.
While planning the apartment, we created a unique element by continuing the lowering of the ceiling from the corridor leading up to the bedroom area. Lowering the corridor ceiling towards the main space divides and defines the two main areas – kitchen and living room, in addition to creating an interesting architectural feature. The kitchen was redesigned in aluminum. The dining table – as well as the majority of the features in the apartment – was custom made. The project included accompanying the client in selecting product and various materials, producing a set of plans for the changes to be made by the contractor, supervision and response to the construction team in adherence with the construction plan.
