Article source: pRchitect communications consultancy A Simple But Splendid Touch At History by Septagram The interior design of the new office of Sele PR and Organization by Istanbul based Septagram draws attention with its postmodern style reflecting the metropolitan identity of the company.
The apartment within the building, which is a second level historical building, was styled in a simple, elegant and splendid manner without deteriorating its own texture. Designed by Istanbul based Septagram having experienced to woven at many historical structures before. The new office of the Sele PR and Organization makes a difference with its simple yet assertive design emphasizing the historical identity of the present structure. The team aiming a fluid space integrity in the interior design had provided the dynamics of the space and the furniture to be used in the foreground, making the floors and walls immobile and bright in order to get a feeling of a spacious interior. On that route, while the whole facade of the house is covered with old white parquet, the wall surfaces are painted with white and decorated with curtains extending all the way to the windows. While the Cumba Selection’s black, white and bronze catalog were used to select the furniture and accessories for the entrance hall , four Jagger mirror and a bronze umbrella stand from Dutch Company Eichholts were used. Since Septagram designers did not want to put a couch in the waiting hall in a usual way, created a lively atmosphere with the giant tripod lighting at the corner, creating a moving fiction with three berjers and puffs of Mis En Demeure and Blan Divoire. In addition, fireplace and aisle were placed in the waiting room with the private request of Gulay Sele, the founder of Sele PR and Organization. The entrance section is separated from the waiting section by a large solid wooden white door to arrange a rectangular suit work-area for Gulay Sele, by using the Mis En Demeure brand Rivoli working set, which draws attention with its delicate and elegant form. Only for this room black and bronze are preferred, and the turquoise touches of Septagram are not forgotten. The inter section of the room was designed as a library. In order to reflect the transparency policy in the business discipline of the Company, the meeting room was designated with an arched passage from the waiting area without using a door. From here, the wall opposite to the window is covered with the “Eskitas” a wear brick brand, which is produced by Septagram, where it provides a depth in the room. Taking into account, the Sele Pr and Organization’s priority for believing in the importance of working in a calm environment, again the white color was used along the corridor of the open offices to provide a relief for the Company team. In order to reflect a modern application of the traditional approach, for the guest restrooms by MCM brand handmade porcelain mosaic of BM design, Istanbul theme handmade custom designed washbasin, Bocchi bran toilet, and old bronze Penta sanitary ware were used. The Office of Sele PR and Organization, located in Tesvikiye Street, has an area of 300 square meters. Having a front part being used as the executive room, the meeting room and the waiting room, the two spacious saloons are being used by the team at the back and with two bathrooms and kitchens on the corridor which binds the front and back part. Having designed a simple, elegant and magnificent office to reflect the postmodern and metropolitan identity of the Sele PR and Organization, Septagram tell the story of the process: “Gulay Sele, who has successful experiences in the field of PR and organization over 10 year, shared her excitement with us when she found the apartment on the second level historical building on Tesvikiye Street. When we saw this apartment with high ceilings to be used as the new office of the Sele PR and Organization, we can easily tell we shared the same excitement. Simple but glorious, mostly dignified dream of Ms Gulay gave us a feeling of Parisian atmosphere in the first place. So, to make this dream come true, we would like to create an environment where every detail look good on its own while pass through and melt each other in harmony as well.” About Septagram: Established in Istanbul by partnership of Muzeyyen Gurbaz, Orhan Madenoglu and Mehmet Gurbaz in 2016, Septagram provides project and implementation services in interior architecture, architecture and landscape architecture areas with a collective structure.
