 Image Courtesy © mecanoo Peter Lindbergh is today regarded as one of the most influential fashion photographers of the past forty years. His pure black-and-white photographs have determined the course of fashion photography since the 1980s. The exhibition features more than 220 photographs including exclusive material varying from personal notes, storyboards, props, polaroids, contact sheets and films to monumental prints.  Image Courtesy © mecanoo  Image Courtesy © mecanoo The exhibition is presented in a thematic approach, marking Lindbergh’s creative development and focusing on his themes, imaginary world, and passions through the years. Mecanoo designed nine different sections, each with their own identity, yet all responding to the aesthetic of Lindbergh’s work. The experience of the black-and-white photography is enhanced through a clever play of light and darkness. In 2017, the exhibition will be shown at Künsthalle München, Germany.
