Article source: Aresto Arquitetura The single storey house of 294 m² is designed for a couple with adult sons who visit their parents frequently. With an \”L\” shaped plan, the main goals of the project were to make a home accessible, easy to maintain and simple to build.
From the street you can see a discrete facade, with few elements. The concrete brise ensures privacy in the dorms, without harming the lighting and natural ventilation. A Muxarabi panel hides a cabinet with storage function. The pivoting cortain steel door completes the composition. At the entrance of the house a small hall leads to the social sector that has environments arranged in a continuous and integrated way. This sector contains the toilet, office, living room, dining table built into the kitchen counter, gourmet space, and service areas. These ambients are connected to the outdoor areas through large openings. The intimate sector corresponds to the block externally coated with concrete brise, and contains three rooms, which correspond to the master suite and two rooms with a shared bathroom. This is a light steel frame construction, with solutions to ensure good thermal performance and energy savings. The windows, counter doors and skylights were designed to take full advantage of the pleasant climate of the city of Louveira. Contact Aresto Arquitetura
