Article source: Aresto Arquitetura The single-floor residence project, developed in the city of Itupeva, had the challenge of meeting the proposal of a house that combines economy, constructive speed and comfort. To save money, the first idea was to adapt the project to the existing topography. The lot has a very accented slope, and had some flat areas made by the previous owner.
With a small movement of land it was possible to adapt the land to the new project. Another important point was the choice of the massive construction system. This constructive method consists of assembling the shapes of all the walls and then filling them with concrete. The construction of a single floor contains the garage, the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, the toilet, the laundry room, the external balcony, and the two suites. The spaces were carefully positioned due to the best sunshine. Natural ventilation has also been studied to improve thermal comfort. The inner and outer walls were not coated, leaving the finish on the exposed concrete. The interior spaces have cement floors in the social areas, laminated wood in the intimate areas and wooden deck on the external balcony. Contact Aresto Arquitetura
